10 Essential things to pack when you are travelling cheap

10 Essential things to pack when you are travelling cheap.

Budget travel is one of the latest trends to hit tourism. Nowadays people don’t want to stay in opulent hotels and spend a lot of money in transit. For all of you who are considering this way of travelling, here are a few tips on what to pack.

Baggage: The first thing to get hold of is obviously a sturdy travel companion. I own a Samsonite Back-pack and I trust it completely, when I go for short trips.

Clothes :  If you are travelling cheap, the key is to get hold of just enough clothes to last the trip. You can use Laundromats in your hotel or just wash your clothes yourself in the sink if the need arises. Jeans, shorts and t-shirts are recommended pieces of clothing in such cases.

Zip-lock bags: I carry three sizes of zip-lock bags with me, a few of each: sandwich size, 1-quart regular-style, and 2-quart or gallon freezer bags. The small ones are great for holding your “pocket stuff” when you go through airport security or when you’re swimming or doing other activities where you fear getting wet. And of course, they’re great for putting food in.

Front-wallet pocket: Pick-pockets are the bane of tourists worldwide. So instead of a back-pocket wallet, you can carry a front pocket one which is reasonably safe for you to monitor and put you documents, cash and other important stuff in.

Travelling While Pregnant – Air Travel While Pregnant

Travelling While Pregnant - Air Travel While Pregnant

For women who are expecting a child then any arrangements where a flight is involved may need to be checked first. Of course it will be the doctor that actually says yes or no to air travel depending on your medical situation. Medical reasons which would prevent travelling while pregnant can include, blood loss, raised blood pressure or swelling.

Fortunately, unless a pregnant woman is expecting twins or more, in which case the airlines might not let her travel after 32 weeks then you are normally safe to travel up to 36 weeks. It is also advisable to carry a medical certificate issued by your doctor if you will be over twenty four weeks pregnant by the time you fly. It is also worthwhile checking in as early as possible as there is a greater chance of being issued a bulkhead seat for additional room or aisle seat where it will be easier for access.

Normally, typhoid and hepatitis A and B vaccinations are recommended for Asia and Africa, however, typhoid vaccinations are not recommended for pregnant women although there is no evidence of fetal damage, there is only limited research on the fetal effects of these vaccinations. Malaria is another problem and travelling while pregnant is not advised to countries where contracting it is a possibility.

Low Budget Travelling With Motorhome Hire

Passion for travelling need not be displayed by going to places far off. If you love travelling, neither do you have to spend huge sums of money on cruises and world tours. You can simply take a motorhome hire and head off to the counties of UK and the aisles around. UK has a number of counties which promises breathtaking scenic beauty and fresh air – and that makes a journey a truly beautiful and memorable one.

When you take motorhome hire and hit the road, you don’t have to think about the destination you want to reach. The journey itself is a wonderful experience and something that you will never ever experience in a bus, a train or even a caravan. The mesmerising hills and the sprawling valleys, the greenery and the pollution free breeze that wafts through your vehicle’s window would keep you pleased and cottoned to the drive all throughout the journey.

Not just the outdoors, you can enjoy yourself and relax even indoors, inside your vehicle. You have a variety of things inside that will keep you entertained. You have branded high definition TVs, multi functional DVDs that would play VCDs and Audio CDs, Play Station etc. If bathing in hot sauna is your idea of rejuvenating, then you could not have been happier. You have a luxury bathroom inside where you can also expect a jacuzzi.
